There are a lot of applications, where instaed of NBR and FPM also PTFE can be used. Due to its high temperature resistance, wide chemical resistance and low friction there are a lot of possibilities.

In rotating applications a standard PTFE seal is the PS-seal and PTFE-lipseal. For special applications we can use PTFE-Rotorseals, Eriseals and OmnisealsReciprocating Axial
For reciprocating applications an Eriflon or Omegat-seals are used. This is a seal with PTFE sealing element and a rubber energizer. This is a rubber activated seal and used in hydrauliccilinders.
An other type is the Eriseal or/and Omniseal®, a PTFE U-cup with metall spring.Spring-energized seal

The rubber energized seal is often used as a primairy seal in a sealingconcept from a hydraulic cylinder.
